About Berkeley

As one of the most sought-after neighborhoods in South Charlotte, Berkeley is a true haven for homeowners and their guests. With mature trees, rolling hills, ponds, well-maintained properties, and stately homes that forgo a cookie-cutter sensibility, this suburban hamlet is visually stunning. It’s a place where friendly neighbors gather spontaneously in cul-de-sacs and take part in annual organized events, such as the Halloween Party, holiday Festival of Lights, July 4th Parade, and community-wide garage sale. Families relish Berkeley for its safety and for top public school zoning, including Providence Spring Elementary, Jay M. Robinson Middle School, and Providence High School. The beautiful private school campus of Charlotte Latin also lies adjacent to Berkeley. Easy access to I-485, retail shopping, restaurants, and supermarkets provide outstanding convenience. Bottom line: Residents know they’ve made a wise investment moving to Berkeley and their neighborhood pride shows.
